Peintre. Autodidacte. Prédilection pour l'abstraction, domaine dans lequel l'artiste ressent le plaisir de « jouer » avec les couleurs, la matière et les médiums. Commence par l'aquarelle dans les années 1980 puis s'oriente vers la peinture à l'huile. L'artiste a une préférence pour les thèmes de la liberté, de l'espace, de la vie et de la mort. Dans ses créations les plus récentes, P. Patrick Vanden -- featured artist (img:154529751284025) Patrick Vandenberghe A self-taught artist born on December 8, 1951 at Brussels, Belgium. My art is my vision, my life, my soul. My art is abstract. I like freedom and space. My vision as an... artist is to be ?heard more an...d visualized more.? In the 80s, my research issues are freedom, the space, the life and death. I have the privileged to have two exhibitions to the Festival of St. Martin which I let rubbing talent develop and emerge. My influences in my art are Micky Vanderlinden Claude Rahir, Jephan de Villiers, and others as well. Due to lack of time especially of desire, the attraction of creation is not felt nor will be born. Nevertheless, some are my works of my creative imagination. Today, the serene spirit offered Patrick's sensual creations. My work expresses the feelings and values in the making felt of my paintings. My solo or individual exhibitions are at Louveigne, Leige, Hannut in Belgium. My collective exhibitions are Tourinnes Large, Vaux Sous Chevremont, Yvoir, Falisolle, Avignon, Lauzerte in New York, Libramont, Hotton, and Little Leez, Cork. My creation of masterpieces exhibited now are Prisonners, Energy, Imagine, The Stairs, Heart, Supporting World Atlas Oil Destroyed, Golden Gate Oil, Ed A Uomo Una Donna, Winter in the in the City, and Heart.
