Peintre. Autodidacte. A étudié les sciences économiques. "Dans mes oeuvres, je joue avec les couleurs et les matières. Je ne me concentre dans mon travail ni sur la brillance technique ni sur la sophistication formelle car celles-ci sont devenues des icônes de notre société 'technologique avancée'. Les principes cartésiens et newtoniens qui nous ont amenés dans l'impasse actuelle, qui est de nature économique, écologique, médicale, sociale, psychologique, sont à remplacer par des visions plus intuitives, moins yang et davantage holistique si nous voulons survivre en tant que race. C'est dans cet esprit que je crée, et afin de contribuer tant qu'il m'est possible à l'éveil des consciences. Nous vivons un moment pivot dans notre histoire et nos actions dans les mois et années à venir détermineront notre avenir. Energie yang doit laisser la place à énergie yin, énergie masculine à énergie féminine, cerveau gauche à cerveau droite. " Actif à Bruxelles.

Tous les prix de vente sont indiqués en €, mais j'accepte aussi le principe du troc comme moyen  de paiement. 10% des reçettes de vente de mes peintures sont virés directement à Avaaz, Wikileaks ou Greenpeace qui oeuvrent pour un meilleur monde.
Mes peintures reflètent le grand amour que j'ai pour cette planète et pour toutes les espèces qui y trouvent la vie.

I was born on 19 November 1962 in London, UK. My roots are mixed as my mother is of British descent and my father is half Italian half Greek. My maternal grandparents were small business owners, artists, writers. My father's family were part of the Greek diaspora living in Constantinople (now Istanbul). My mother studied performing arts and was on her may to making a professional career as a singer when she met my father. My father went to university in the UK and got an engineer's degree. My father always dreamt of being a farmer and working on the land. He never was able to fulfil that dream of his, but now that he's retired he does things with his hands nevertheless, as he designs and builds wooden furniture. He has been living in South Africa with his 2nd wife since the beginning of the1980's. My mother is still living in Luxembourg which is where I grew up and went to high school as well. I went on to university in Switzerland where I earned a business degree. I have been married once and now share a house in Brussels with 3 other people, 2 cats and 1 dog. I have never had any formal education in painting, so all I know comes from reading, listening and experimenting. I don't like much to speak about my work as it seems difficult for many people to grasp. Most of the western world (including the art world) so focuses on technical brilliance and sophistication of form that it is difficult to convey a message which is not centred on form and technique. My paintings are about the invisible, the spiritual, the mystical and mystery of cosmic creation. I am not interested in form perfection, in analyzing and reproducing detail, but in the overall, holistic picture. Western civilization's fragmented and mechanistic view of life on Earth has led us to want to control and dominate nature and use her to our advantage. This in turn has led to global warming, and to a situation where we can't say for sure whether we as species will still be around 50 years from now. I refuse to go down that analytical path in my paintings as I believe this is not our salvation. On the contrary, we need to add more yin into the otherwise so yang oriented world and my paintings reflect a need to create a small breathing space around the otherwise so mentally overloaded art world.

Barter as means of payment is also accepted. 10% of sales receipts is given to Avaaz, Wikileaks or Greenpeace, all working hard to create a planet Earth where everyone is freer, has more say in the way their countries are run and where all living species are equally important. My paintings reflect the great love I have for our planet and all species which inhabit it. Spread the word and help make the Earth a better place for everyone!
